 Meanderings... animation duration: 2.56min

My work communicates a response to nature. It is an interpretation of the geological aspects of the landslip at Chilton Chine on the south west coast of the Isle of Wight. This is an area that is on the move, constantly changing as the elements attack the fragility of the environment and the processes of erosion take place.

Just as natural forces deconstruct and reconstruct the landscape, the work mimics these processes and provides a blueprint that charts the history of change and altered states. Nature's repertoire of descriptive marks are examined, decoded and transcribed to capture a moment in time.
